tampa realtorsThe founder of FSBO, Coly Sambrotto, recently hired a Realtor to sell his condo in Manhattan.? He?s now looking to work with Realtors on his latest venture, USRealty.com.? However, this new business will pay Realtors a commission if they bring a Buyer. The main focus is still aimed at reducing commission and transaction costs but they are cooperating with Buyer?s Agents.?

?

Sambrotto hopes to have a good working relationship with real estate agents while servicing?a niche market in housing. He says the site has drawn lots of interest from distressed sellers even though that was not their intended user group.? There is a distinct advantage to hiring a real estate agent to assist with distressed properties especially since they can provide resources, expertise, and guidance through the difficult process of closing a short sale or foreclosure. The Tampa Real Estate market has many licensed Realtors with specific expertise in negotiating short sales successfully.

Uma Thurman Pregnant With Third Child

Mom-to-be will star as Robert Pattinson's love interest in 'Bel Ami.'

Uma Thurman is a mama-to-be once again. According to E! Online, the "Kill Bill" and "Bel Ami" actress and her financier beau Arpad Busson will welcome a new bundle of joy into the world later this year.

The new addition to Thurman's family will join her children Maya, 13, and Levon, 10, with whom she shares custody with ex-husband Ethan Hawke. Hawke has expanded his family in recent years as well. After marrying his and Thurman's onetime nanny Ryan Shawhughes in 2008, the happy couple has welcomed two children of their own: Clementine, 3, and Indiana, 6 months.

Although Thurman will likely begin preparations for her new arrival, fans will get to see more of the 41-year-old beauty in Robert Pattinson's next film, "Bel Ami," which opens in March. Thurman has been fortunate to have co-starred with a slew of handsome younger men in her films over the years, which she said she has not taken for granted: "I have been cast opposite a lot of really handsome, charming young men," she told MTV News, laughing, last April. "It's nice work when you can get it.

"I've also worked with some of the world's most wonderful esteemed older men throughout my career, who were wonderful people to learn from and be with. I think the exploration of people relating in different generations is something that is really current," she continued. "And it's fun. It's wonderful to have. I can't just speak about it romantically, but it's wonderful to know people at all different stages of life."

Speaking of her work with her very popular "Bel Ami" co-star and international heartthrob, Thurman has had nothing but high praise for Pattinson: "Robert Pattinson is, I think, going to be a really serious actor," she shared. "I think he's incredibly concrete in his presence on the set and obviously is very handsome. [He] is a very nice person, and he's sensitive. He's present. ... He's a really good actor."

Check out everything we've got on "Bel Ami."

Cardiac Diseases Due to Anxiety | What is Asthma? What Causes ...

According to the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, 19 million adults suffer from various disorders of anxiety. Anxiety disorder is the most common diagnosis in the child population.

As an everyday emotion, anxiety can be a good thing, prompting us to take extra precautions. But when anxiety persists, it can undermine our physical health. Evidence suggests that people with anxiety disorders are at greater risk for some chronic medical conditions.

Anxiety Can Take its Toll on the Body

Chronic generalized anxiety is often associated with several of the following physical symptoms: restlessness, feeling keyed up or on edge; fatigue; irritability; muscle tension; difficulty concentrating or experiencing times when the mind goes blank; or inability to relax or difficulty falling or staying asleep or restless unsatisfying sleep.

Conditions that can be Affected by Anxiety

Gastrointestinal disorders: About 10% to 20% of Americans suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or functional dyspepsia. In these disorders, the nerves regulating digestion appear to be hypersensitive to stimulation. There are no firm data on the prevalence of anxiety disorders in people with such digestive disorders, but a recent New Zealand study found an association between high anxiety levels and the development of IBS.

Chronic respiratory disorders: Although results vary, most studies have found a high rate of anxiety symptoms and panic attacks in patients who have chronic respiratory disorders such as asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), with women at greater risk than men. In several studies involving COPD patients, anxiety has been associated with more frequent hospitalization and with more severe distress at every level of lung function. So even if anxiety doesn?t affect the progress of COPD, it takes a substantial toll on quality of life. A study involving 20-year follow up showed that people with panic disorder were 6 times more likely to develop asthma than people without an anxiety disorder. This study was reported by G. Hasler in American journal of Respiratory & Critical Care in a 2005 issue.

Heart disease: anxiety disorders have also been linked to the development of heart disease and to heart attack (aka, acute myocardial infarction) in people who already have heart disease. Two recent studies concluded that among people with heart disease, those suffering from an anxiety disorder were twice as likely to have a heart attack as those with no history of anxiety disorders. Steven Barger and Summer Sydeman of Northern Arizona University found that generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) can independently predict the risk of coronary heart disease (CHD). Let?s take an example to explain independent risk prediction. Say person A and B are of the same age and body mass index. Both use medication for high blood pressure and high cholesterol but A also has generalized anxiety disorder while B does not. The risk of A suffering from CHD is higher than that for B. The study was reported by Barger and Sydeman in the Journal of Affect Disorder in a 2005 issue.

About Anxiety

Anxiety disorder is a blanket term covering several different forms of abnormal, pathological anxiety, fears, phobias. Unlike the relatively mild, brief anxiety caused by a stressful event (such as speaking in public or a first date), anxiety disorders last at least 6 months and can get worse if they are not treated.

Anxiety disorders affect about 40 million American adults age 18 years and older (about 18%) in a given year, causing them to be filled with fearfulness and uncertainty. Anxiety disorders commonly occur along with other mental or physical illnesses, including alcohol or substance abuse, which may mask anxiety symptoms or make them worse.

Black 'complexion' pageant brings complaints

Facebook.com

The promoters of the runway show said it was meant to honor African-American women during Black History Month.

By M. Alex Johnson, msnbc.com

St. Louis residents expressed outrage this week over a "Battle of the Complexions" contest scheduled for Friday night, but the event's promoters said they organized it to honor African-American women and regretted any "misunderstanding."

The event was set for 9 p.m. local time (10 p.m. ET) at a nightclub in St. Louis. Promotional materials, including the poster pictured at right, promised a contest to see which African-American women are most attractive ? those with light skin, those with brown skin or those with dark skin.

"This is the most debatable topic of the year, whats the sexiest skin complexion?? So ladies come out & lets settle this!!" the promoters ? Mack TV, a video and music promotional company, and a local "men's entertainment" promoter calling himself Nelly Da'Celeb ? said on a Facebook page for the event, which msnbc.com is not linking to because of extreme language.

Adolphus Pruitt, president of the St. Louis chapter of the NAACP, said the event "raises the ... hair on the back of people's necks like me and some other folks."

"Folks who buy into it, support it, feed into it, they're just assuring that using race ? using the skin complexion of women, devaluating women and things of this nature ? is going to continue to happen, because as long as people spend money to take advantage of it, somebody's going to use it as a promotional tool," Pruitt told NBC station KSDK.

After the contest was highlighted this week by Kevin C. Johnson, a music writer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, negative reaction was swift and loud.

Camille Houston, an African-American woman from St. Louis, told KSDK that she found the promotion offensive because it perpetuates historical divisions in the African-American community centered on skin tone.

"Some guys will say, 'I don't like talking to dark-skinned girls,' or, you know, some girls will say. 'I don't like talking to dark-skinned guys,'" Houston said.

The comments section on Johnson's post was filled with remarks reflecting equal parts outrage and sadness, interspersed with some support from commenters whose pictures indicated they were African-American, along with some outright racist sentiments.

"Not only does this kind of nonsense continue to promote a negative collective self image, (which society does fine all by itself). These clowns now promote it. Wow!!!" one said.

"The women, the men, and the promoters of this event are only doing much more to create a larger divide by skin color in an already too divided country," said another, who added: "All involved are losers in my book."

In a post Thursday on Nelly Da'Celeb's personal Facebook page, Mack TV and Nelly Da'Celeb said they understood why some people were upset but that the event would go on:

MACK TV WOULD LIKE TO CLEAR UP THE MISUNDERSTANDING OF OUR CONCEPT FOR THIS PARTY...ITS NOT TO DEGRADE WOMEN OR DIVIDE SKIN COLORS. ITS SIMPLY TO SEE WHICH COMPLEXION OF THE AFRICAN AMERICAN RACE REPRESENTS THE MOST (lightskinned, caramel-brown, or darkskinned) AS A WHOLE , MALE & FEMALE! I CAN SEE THE MISUNDERSTANDING WITH OUR PROMO.....WE COULD HAVE USED A BETTER CHOICE OF WORDS....WE DID NOT MEAN TO OFFEND THE OFFENDED

ITS BLACK HISTORY MONTH , SO WE MADE A PARTY THEME DEDICATED TO OUR AFRICAN AMERICAN CROWD. THE YOUNGER GENERATION IS LOVING THIS PARTY BECAUSE HERE'S THE FIRST TIME EVER YOU CAN COME OUT & BE PROUD THAT YOU ARE BLACK!! REGARDLESS OF YOUR SKIN TONE SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION & MISLEADING INFO.

ITS BLACK HISTORY MONTH , SO LETS BE PROUD OF THE SKIN WE'RE IN!! REPRESENT YOUR COMPLEXION!

They added that "ladies" would be admitted at a discount of "$5 until 11 p.m."

Mike Rush of NBC station KSDK contributed to this report by M. Alex Johnson of msnbc.com.

The fallacy of the CEO president (Politico)

Is it safe to assume that a successful CEO is uniquely prepared to be president? No more than it is safe to assume a successful president is uniquely prepared to be CEO. This, at least, is what I tell students in my leadership class. The response aims to make them think hard about the common traits successful leaders across professions share ? and to think harder about the very different challenges they face.

For his part, Mitt Romney has staked his presidential ambitions on the answer to the first question being yes ? an unequivocal, resounding yes. He is not alone in his opinion. For many people, success in business suggests a special fitness for presidential leadership. They have a point, insofar as accomplished CEOs typically possess an aptitude for rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, and organizational efficiency. These are indispensable skills for any chief executive, but they are also more relevant to solving problems than defining them.

Throughout the primaries, Romney has presented himself as master problem solver, a characterization that rings true with the people who knew him best at Harvard Business School, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. In a recent New York Times story, Kim B. Clark, a former dean of the business school described his old friend as someone who possessed the ?natural instincts to be a problem solver? and ?thrived on facts and data.?

Romney?s enduring achievement in public life is a testament both to the power and principal limit of such instincts. When he became governor of Massachusetts, Romney looked for a public policy problem to solve commensurate with his considerable political ambition. And what better problem than health care (or the lack thereof)? Romney went to work crafting a bill to ensure universal coverage for the people of Massachusetts. For those who could not afford insurance, assistance was provided them. For those who could, a state-run insurance broker was established to help them. And for those who refused, penalties were imposed.

When he signed it into law, the Massachusetts health care bill must have seemed to Romney like the kind of historic achievement that showcased his talents as a public policy problem solver. As the chief executive of a major state, he had organized a diverse team of academics, business leaders, and government officials and spearheaded a problem-solving process that looked for the best ideas irrespective of ideological imprimatur.

But what happens when people can?t agree on the problem or, for that matter, the ideological parameters in which it ought to be resolved? Such disagreements are central to politics ? Does life begin at conception? Is health care a right? Should we end the Fed? But they are more foreign to business. As Milton Friedman famously argued, the moral imperative and raison d??tre of private enterprise are one. ?[T]here is one and only one social responsibility of business,? Friedman said, ?to use its resources and engage in activities designed to increase its profits so long as it stays within the rules of the game, which is to say, engages in open and free competition without deception or fraud.?

Insofar as CEOs have embraced Friedman?s contention, they have relieved themselves of the kind of the moral and ideological debates that dominate Capitol Hill. How do you legally make as much money as possible for your shareholders? is the fundamental problem of business, and solving that problem is the chief responsibility of a CEO.

The compression of generations ? 25 million adults live at home with ...

The thought of moving out on your own and making your individual way in the world is very much an American trait.? Certainly movies and television shows almost always assume every American has moved out on their own once adulthood is reached.? What this recession has taught us is never take anything for what is shown on the surface.? Many young adults, many times to the chagrin of baby boomer parents, have moved back home because of the employment market conditions brought on by the recession.? Roughly 25 million adults live at home with their parents for a variety of reasons but mostly economic.? For many the debilitating cost of student debt is hindering their progression into the independent marketplace.? For others it is the lack of solid wages that actually provide enough to support a person living on their own. ?And for many others the inability to find a job is still a very common experience.

Where have the young adults gone?

Without a doubt many young adults, those between the ages of 25 to 34 have moved back home (or never left home) because of the recession:

census age living at home

Source:? Census

Part of the trend is unmistakable in that much of the growth has come from men.? This is likely due to industries like construction taking a brutal hit once the housing market went bust.? However the trend has also occurred with females if we go back to the early 2000s.? There are a variety of reasons for this compression of generations.? This is common in other parts of the world but certainly is a new phenomenon here in the US.? In Italy it is common for men to live at home well into (and beyond) young adulthood but how well will this go in the US?

It doesn?t seem like much of this is by voluntary choice:

?(TIME) Nearly 25 million adults live at home with their parents because they?re unemployed or underemployed, they?re trying to pay off student loans or save money to buy a place, or for any number of other reasons. While calling mom and dad your ?roommates? may be a smart financial move, it?s the kiss of death for a healthy dating life. Trulia?s survey found that only 5% of unmarried adults would be open to dating someone who lived with their parents.?

This might also explain a massive slowdown in the first time homebuyer market since many purchase their first home between the ages of 25 to 34.? It is tricky to purchase a home when people are working low-wage jobs or simply not working at all.? The massive amount of student debt also hangs above many from moving into another major debt purchase.? As the above data highlights living with your parents might be good for your pocketbook but it might be difficult to woo a potential partner when living at home for many reasons.? Yet this also delays the need for a home since there is little need for larger spaces when you are single.? Without a doubt the trend of young adults living at home has increased:

living-at-home

The markets might be crying out at a recovery but for young adults, the recession is still in season.? A large part of this problem stems from the wicked maze that has become our higher education system.? Make a mistake today and you can be saddled with tens of thousands of dollars in debt for life with a paper mill degree.? Even two decades ago this was not possible.? Today with the financialization of college for-profits saddle students with enormous levels of debt but with a degree that yields very little in the marketplace.

?The crushing blow of college debt

In 1997-98 for-profits enrolled 3 percent of all undergraduates.? Today they are up to 9 percent.? What is more troubling is the disproportionate amount of federal aid these institutions draw:

for-profit-share

Source:? Chronicle of Higher Education

For-profits, although 9 percent of all undergraduate enrollments eat up 22 percent of all? unsubsidized Stafford Loans and 21 percent of all Pell Grants.? With for-profits now enrolling close to 2,000,000 students you have a large number of young adults with degrees that will not likely yield a solid return on their investment (if any at all aside from a large debt load).

If students from competitive schools are having a hard time finding suitable employment what of those that went to these schools?? It seems like many are catching on but not before nationally student loan debt races to the $1 trillion mark.

The trend for automation

Self-checkout stands, self-serve kiosks, and other items of automation are part of our modern day economy.? But you can rest assured that they are not creating much in the way of jobs:

??(TIME) It?ll be interesting to see what Coinstar and other businesses try to sell via vending machines during the test stage. Sneakers? Jewelry? A home mortgage? An entire dinner in a pill, like something out of ?The Jetsons?? Who knows.

Here?s one thing we can be pretty sure of, though: The spread of vending machines is unlikely to do much in the way of creating jobs.?

This is a trend that seems unstoppable.? For those with few skills the manual labor positions are being automated out.? Think of Redbox for example.? This is a boom sector for Coinstar but each one of the 28,000 kiosks does very little in adding a job.? Today there are 28,000 Redbox locations with revenues of $774 million.? Not bad but will these add many jobs?? That seems to be the conundrum of our modern economy.

The current economy and the recent recession have been particularly rough on young adults.? Many are moving back home with parents and this trend seems to be holding strong.? With the cost of college soaring and stagnant wages, the money will have to come from somewhere.

Toxins from diseased brain cells make diseases of the brain even worse

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Sometimes our immune defence attacks our own cells. When this happens in the brain we see neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. But if the the immune defence is inhibited, the results could be disastrous. Researchers at the University of Copenhagen have now discovered one of the molecular combat mechanisms in the brain that gets out of control in these diseases. In time this may enable targeted therapies to slow down the disease without harming the patient.

"In their attempt to recover, diseased brain cells release chemical waste products into the brain", says Associate Professor Frederik Vilhardt from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. "Unfortunately this makes the automated soldiers of the immune defence in the brain retaliate with high levels of free radicals the way they do with infections, and unfortunately they also attack the healthy nerve cells. This starts a vicious circle. We have discovered hitherto unknown facets of the biological mechanism that the immune cells use for creating the free radicals. This may lead to therapies to slow the neurodegenerative diseases."

The many different troops of the immune system include the macrophages. They are like robotic vacuum cleaners on autopilot, constantly removing any foreign bodies they encounter. They do so by ingesting microorganism and cell remains, putting them into a kind of stomach, and then bombarding them with free radicals such as the familiar hydrogen peroxide, which chemically destroys the stomach content.

The macrophages create their free radicals with a mobile molecular gun battery - known as NADPH Oxidase among scientists - an enzym, which is located on the surface of newborn immune cells. It secretes free radicals to destroy the foreign bodies the macrophage meets, but can also use the free radicals to signal the logistics troops of the immune system: the T-cells. This occurs when the macrophage ingests a virus and needs to warn the immune system that there is a threat.

But normally the radical battery is moved to the inside of the macrophage where it eliminates the virus and other foreign bodies it ingests. So under normal circumstances this immune cell only releases a few free radicals to its environments when it is combatting invading micro organisms. This option may mean life or death in the brain, where nerve cells are extremely sensitive to free radicals.

"This battery is a vital component of a well-functioning immune system", Associate Professor Vilhardt continues. "If the NADHP Oxidase does not work in the macrophages, patients become so ill that they die".

This is because if the macrophages do not remove foreign bodies, the immune system decides instead to encapsulate viruses, bacteria, fungus and parasites in special shells. These granulomata accumulate in the body until they kill the patient before the latter has reached the age of thirty. This disease is known as Chronic granulomatous disease.

"Things have to be in balance", says Associate Professor Vilhardt. "In neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and dementia the level of free radicals in the brain is out of balance: it is too high".

New research will target treatment of brain diseases

He and his colleagues have discovered that the high free radical levels arise in the brain because the macrophages react to the waste products o the diseased brain cells by transferring the combat batteries to the surface, and the vulnerable nerve cells become inundated by high levels of free radicals.

"Unfortunately, completely preventing the activity of the macrophage free radical battery is a bad idea, because then it can't kill bacteria and other foreign bodies, and in effect you give the patient Chronic granulomatous disease", he says.

"Instead, we need to persuade the macrophages in the brain to retract the batteries into their insides. Then they will no longer be able to emit free radicals into the brain, but will continue to be able to ingest and destroy the waste products of the diseased nerve cells. This will enable us to inhibit the neurodegenerative diseases. This is the project I and my colleagues are now starting work on".

Quick And Powerful Internet Promotion Strategies | Internet ...

advertisemarketing.Blogging.

If you want to advertise your online businesses and have no funds to spend on internet marketing services provided by specialists, you could make your own work count. Here are a few surefire online marketing tips to effectively advertise your internet business online:

1. e-mail marketing. It will be a good idea to develop a squeeze page. Provide a freebie to make guests of the webpage more forthcoming with their contact details. Once you have a list of email addresses willingly given by their owners, you may then send well prepared advertising emails that would not simply end up being junk e-mail.

2. Content and submission. This, of course, requires time, work and skill. Unique and very helpful content articles are usually appreciated and people tend to trust the author?s judgment on the links they come across in the post. The links on them, partnered with the appropriate anchor text, should direct visitors to your website. If backlinks aren?t permitted inside the post, just include them in the author resource box.

3. Blogging. This provides a better platform for discussion with clients than a site does. Besides this, a blog enables you to establish yourself and consequently, also your business, in its pertinent niche. It?s a great way to get connected with other writers who may be interested in helping you advertise your business. Connected to blogging, you may also go into commenting, which is another way of dropping backlinks to your internet business.

4. Social networks. Utilize social networks like Twitter. It?s a great way to improve your ?fan base? and broaden your contacts list. It?s also a good way to update your current customers on what is new with your website or business.

James Schramko provides some basic internet marketing stategies to jumpstart your website.

Lindsay Lohan's Life Since 'SNL': A Timeline

The years since Lohan's last 'Saturday Night Live' hosting gig have been filled with turmoil.

For the first time in a long time, the universe seems to be working in Lindsay Lohan's favor. The actress has been confirmed as host of the March 3 episode of "Saturday Night Live" and has reportedly booked the role of film legend Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie "Liz and Dick."

Recently, she's been lying low and working to finish the community service she was sentenced to following numerous probation violations relating to past DUI arrests and charges she shoplifted a necklace from a Venice, California, boutique in early 2011. Her most recent probation progress reports from Los Angeles Superior Court judge Stephanie Sautner have been "glowing," and there's been some indication she may even be on track to complete the requirements of her probation early, according to Radar.

Lohan last hosted "SNL" in April 2006. She's hosted the legendary sketch-comedy show three times, receiving mostly positive reviews for her stints on the show. But a lot has happened to the starlet in the years since. Let's take a look at where she was when she last hosted the show and the turbulent years since.

When Lindsay Last Hosted 'SNL'
When Lohan last graced the famous Studio 8-H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, she was promoting her star vehicle "Just My Luck" and the Robert Altman-directed "A Prairie Home Companion." Lohan received a career-high paycheck of $7 million for the rom-com, which was helmed by Donald Petrie, who was working in the genre that brought him great success with "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Miss Congeniality." The role was intended to be the bridge that carried Lohan from her child-star past into adult roles but failed to catch fire at the box office, grossing a disappointing $17 million.

While it didn't perform particularly well in theaters either, "Companion" earned warm reviews and, importantly, landed the actress accolades from two of the film industry's most respected veterans, the late Altman, the legendary director of "MASH," "Nashville," "Short Cuts" and "Gosford Park," and Meryl Streep, who complimented Lohan's acting skills in W magazine, saying, "She's in command of the art form" and "completely, visibly living in front of the camera."

While trouble was brewing in her personal life at the time, with rumors of drug use, hard partying and eating disorders already plaguing the then-19-year-old actress, Lohan still had some of the most highly esteemed people in her industry rushing to her defense. Later that same year, she earned a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination as part of the sprawling cast of "Bobby."

Just a month after her "SNL" appearance, concerns about her partying came to a head when she was hospitalized on the set of "Georgia Rule." Her reps claimed "she was overheated and dehydrated," but Morgan Creek Productions executive James G. Robinson famously called her bluff and did so very publicly, penning a letter that was quickly made public calling the actress "irresponsible and unprofessional" and stating, "We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called 'exhaustion.' "

The actress soldiered on, but not for long. In January 2007, production on her much-maligned and financially unsuccessful film "I Know Who Killed Me" was suspended when she entered the hospital to have her appendix removed and again less than a month later when she entered the Wonderland Center, a lavish treatment facility for substance abuse that caters to a celebrity clientele. It was the first of several court-ordered and voluntary stays in rehab.

Soon after, she withdrew from a planned film adaptation of Oscar Wilde's "A Woman of No Importance" and was released from the independent film "The Edge of Love" after the director was not able to secure insurance for Lohan to star.

Lohan's Legal Troubles Begin
The tumult that has plagued Lohan since early 2007 is as well-publicized as it is seemingly endless. For all intents and purposes, the legal troubles that continue to plague the actress really began in May 2007, when she was arrested for driving under the influence. We've briefly catalogued those troubles below:

May 26, 2007: Lohan is arrested after crashing her Mercedes into a shrub and curb in Los Angeles at 5:30 a.m. and is charged with misdemeanor DUI. She immediately re-enters rehab, this time at Promises Treatment Center in Malibu.

July 24, 2007: The actress is again arrested for DUI, this time following a brief car chase through Santa Monica. When police search Lohan, she is found to have a small amount of cocaine in her pocket. People reports that she was wearing an alcohol-detection ankle bracelet at the time of her arrest and was booked for DUI, possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended license. In August, Lohan reaches a plea deal that includes one day in jail (though she ultimately only serves 84 minutes), 10 days of community service, completion of an 18-month alcohol-education program, hundreds of dollars in fines and 36 months of probation.

February 2008: Lohan re-creates Marilyn Monroe's famous "Last Sitting" in a controversial photo shoot for New York magazine. Unable to secure acting roles, reportedly because production companies can't afford the high cost of insuring her, she launches a line of leggings, 6126 (Monroe's birthday), and a spray-tan line, Sevin Nyne, in collaboration with Sephora.

October 16, 2009: Lohan is more than an hour late to a probation hearing in Beverly Hills for a progress review on her two DUI cases and receives another year of probation due to failure to complete alcohol-education classes as required.

June 8, 2010: A judge issues an arrest warrant for Lohan after she violates a court order to not consume alcohol while wearing a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet. The warrant is recalled after she posts $200,000 bail.

July 6, 2010: Lohan is sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab for violating her probation in her DUI cases.

July 20, 2010: The actress is taken into custody to begin her jail term. She serves only 14 days of the 90-day sentence due to overcrowding and is taken immediately to UCLA Medical Center to begin her court-ordered rehab. She is again released early and permitted to continue her treatment on an outpatient basis.

September 24, 2010: Having failed a drug test, Lohan's trial is revoked and she spends a day in jail before being released on bail. A few days later, she is sent on justice sequence to the Betty Ford Center, where she remains for three months.

February 9, 2011: Barely free for a month, Lohan is charged with a burglary after walking out of a Venice, California, boutique with a $2,500 necklace still around her neck. She pleads no contest, but as any violations of the law constitute a violation of her probation, she is sentenced to 120 days in jail, 360 hours of community service at a Los Angeles women's shelter and 120 hours service at the L.A. County morgue. Due to jail overcrowding, she serves house arrest instead, wearing a tracking ankle monitor for 35 days. While underneath house arrest, her monitoring bracelet detects trace amounts of alcohol in her system, which under further investigation are not deemed a probation violation, so she receives no additional punishment.

October 19, 2011: After Lohan fails to complete her court-ordered community service, Judge Sautner revokes the actress' probation and sends her to jail, telling the actress that if she wants to stay out of a corrections facility, she needs to complete 16 hours of community service at the morgue before her next hearing. She is again sentenced to jail November 7, this time for 30 days, but is released after just a few hours due to overcrowding.

Following her latest brush with the law, the actress seemed to decide that enough was enough. She's reportedly been diligent about completing her community service so she can get back to work as an actress and has received positive notices from the judge.

Rumored to be experiencing financial difficulties due to her inability to work, Lohan accepted a $1 million deal to pose for the January issue of Playboy. Her photo shoot for the men's magazine was, unsurprisingly, inspired by Marilyn Monroe's shoot for the same mag. The issue was released early after the photos leaked online and was enormously successful, reportedly even selling out in some markets.

Lohan's March 3 appearance on "Saturday Night Live" will be her first acting gig since Robert Rodriguez's 2010 film "Machete."

Business to Business Advertising ? Putting together a business ...

Before you proceed with your business to business advertising, think of the concept that you are going to adopt. Your target business customer needs to have a compelling reason to buy your product. Remember its all about your business customer and not about you. You might think your product is great but ask yourself the question why would your target business customer buy it?

Remember your business client got out of bed with corporate problems, goals and other things on his mind. Your business to business advertising is therefore vying for attention amongst many other things and therefore needs to present a compelling reason that?s important to your business client to buy your product.

Don't bore your business client

Your business client is already looking at dull reports, bank statements and all sorts of other boring pieces of documentation so don't add your bit to it. Instead present your business customer with a glitzy, racy business to business advertising presentation that will make them say 'wow'. They will welcome the break in their routine. In all this, don?t forget to present a compelling reason for them to buy your product. In fact, that is the next point I shall dwell upon.

After you have their attention, present them the reason to buy

Now that your business to business advertising solutions has succeeded in grabbing their attention, complete the process by presenting them with a convincing and compelling reason to buy your product. Present the biggest benefit first otherwise they will quickly lose interest. Presenting the best compelling reason to buy the item makes them think about it. Once you present the most compelling reason first, you can then move on to other reasons for buying your product. Remember always to think from your customer?s point of view.

Proof is in the pudding

When you are running your online brand management, do not forget to prove your statements. Be armed with facts and figures or be armed with a demonstration. Do not under any circumstances ask your corporate customer to 'trust you' or to believe you ' it?s a guaranteed switch off and your business to business advertising will fail. Always be prepared to present overwhelming proof to back up your claims.

Be specific

You'll be amazed at how many Social media campaigns end with a phone number or a email or a URL. Sure you expect them to call, write to visit your website and then what? Instead end your business to business advertising with an offer.'Call now on for a free sample delivered within 24 hours' or 'visit our website to avail of a special inaugural discount on your first order'and so on. Offering your business client something specific gives them the reason to call you or email you or visit your website. Remember, unless you present them an inducement to action, nothing will happen. Always therefore end your business to business advertising with concrete offer and a call to action.

I would like to reserve a maid but I usually play a trouble-maker or one that is easily tricked. I could try the sour one since she seems the closest to one of those.
